Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Rinku Singh played a decent hand for his team in the ongoing game against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match between the teams is taking place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
Rinku Singh, who has been undergoing a lean patch in the ongoing IPL 2025, came up with the vital hand for his team as he made sure that he cashed in on the platform given by the top order. The Kolkata Knight Riders batter came out to bat at six and took his team to a decent position.
With wickets falling at the other end, Rinku Singh made sure that he played his shots and didn’t let Delhi Capitals take complete command of the game. The Kolkata Knight Riders batter slammed bowlers all over the park and was looking all set for a big finish.

But his stay at the crease was cut short by the brilliance of Mitchell Starc on the boundary ropes. Vipraj Nigam, who was bowling, bowled a flighted ball outside off. Rinku Singh sat down and belted the slog sweep flat towards Long-on.
With the kind of connection that he had, it seemed that the ball would go for a six. But that wasn’t the case as Mitchell Starc timed his jump and turned to his left to take it with both hands, with his body almost pointing to the crowd.
Mitchell Starc was very close to the rope but was in complete control of the catch as he showed great presence of mind to provide his team with a crucial breakthrough.
